Read pages 30–31 in The Peace Table: A Storybook Bible or Genesis 16 and 21. The angel told Hagar, “Don’t be afraid.” Tell a story about a time when you were afraid.
Pray Pour a small amount of water on each person’s hand as you say, “Don’t be afraid. God hears you.”
Create Use art supplies to make a large name tag for God. Use Hagar’s name for God (El Roi) or another name you choose.
