Joan Daggett is the project director for Shine: Living in God’s Light. She holds a master of arts in theology from Bethany Theological Seminary. An ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren, she has served in pastoral and judicatory ministries. Before coming to Shine, she served as executive director of the Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Joan is married to Kevin Daggett and they have three grown daughters. She lives in Bridgewater, Virginia, and attends Dayton Church of the Brethren. She enjoys baking, reading, and caring for their three furry family members.
Joyce Peachey Lind is the staff curriculum editor for Shine. Before coming to Shine, she served as a pastor at Community Mennonite Church, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Prior to that, she taught first grade at Eastern Mennonite Elementary School for ten years. Joyce earned a M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University and taught preschool and music for young children. An ordained minister in the Mennonite church, she holds an M.Div. in Christian Faith Formation from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and has formal training in spiritual direction.
Joyce is married to Myron Lind and they have two sons. Joyce and Myron live in Harrisonburg, Virginia where Joyce enjoys meeting friends for coffee, walking, playing piano, and reading. She is an avid collector of children’s books.
Rachel Nussbaum Eby is the managing editor for Shine. Before joining Shine in 2013, she was the director of communications at Mennonite Education Agency for five years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Mennonite University. Rachel works from her home in Goshen, Indiana.
Her favorite pastimes include camping and kayaking with her husband Rick and their two dogs and spending time with her two adult children who live in Virginia. Rachel and Rick attend Walnut Hill Mennonite Church in Goshen.
Shana Peachey Boshart is the Project Facilitator for Shine Everywhere, the at-home initiative of Shine Curriculum. Shana is an ordained minister and a credentialed leadership coach. She served for 20 years as the conference minister for Christian formation for Central Plains Mennonite Conference and for four years as the denominational minister for faith formation for Mennonite Church USA. Shana earned a graduate certificate in theological studies from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and has formal training in spiritual direction.
Shana is married to David Boshart and they have three sons and four granddaughters. They live in Elkhart, Indiana, and attend Prairie Street Mennonite Church. Shana enjoys being with family and friends, walking outdoors, reading, listening to podcasts, and conversations about spirituality, God and the church.
